Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Morocco Sahara Spirit collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible for your data

Morocco Sahara Spirit, Rue de la Recette, Avenue Prince Moulay Rachid, Marrakech, Morocco. For anything to do with your data, write to infos@moroccosaharaspirit.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you send an enquiry or a booking request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of travellers, and anything you choose to tell us about your trip – for example dietary needs, mobility or the kind of itinerary you want. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we hold that conversation.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical data through analytics: IP address, approximate location, device and browser, the pages you visit, and how you arrived. This is aggregated data about visits, not an attempt to identify you personally.

What we never collect. This website takes no payments and has no card payment system. We do not collect, process or store card or bank details anywhere on this site, and we will never ask for them by email or WhatsApp.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and run your tour. We need your contact details and trip details to quote, confirm and organise a booking, and to reach you on the day. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before one.
  • To understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising, so we can improve the site and spend sensibly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the business, and your consent where required for cookies.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses the following:

  • Google Analytics 4 (property G-38Y96WRF53), through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages are useful.
  • Google Ads tags, to measure whether an advert led to an enquiry.
  • TranslatePress, which stores your language choice (English or French) so the site stays in the language you picked.
  • LiteSpeed Cache, which serves pages faster. It does not identify you.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you using the site or making an enquiry. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who else sees your data

  • Google – analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Hostinger – our web host, which stores the website and its enquiry records.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) – only if you choose to message us there; that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
  • Our email provider – to send and receive correspondence with you.
  • Suppliers needed to run your tour – drivers, guides, hotels, riads and desert camps receive only what they need, normally your name, the date and the group size.

Some of these providers operate outside Morocco and the European Union, which means your data may be transferred abroad. We only use established providers who commit to appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Booking correspondence is kept for up to five years for accounting and insurance reasons. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s own retention settings. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to: give you a copy of the data we hold about you; correct anything wrong; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or provide it in a portable format. Write to infos@moroccosaharaspirit.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Bookings that include children are made by a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms and Conditions.
